Neringa is a Lithuanian cultural camp founded by the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in 1969. For over 40 years Neringa has served thousands of children and families in various camp sessions with the mission to foster understanding and love for Lithuanian heritage, teach Christian values in the Roman Catholic tradition, and provide for positive character development.

In addition to camps, Neringa offers occasional alumni events. Other organizations should feel free to contact our administration regarding the use of facilities at Neringa.

NERINGA NEWS

Winter Šventė at Neringa - February 10-12, 2012
Ever wondered what Neringa looks like covered with a blanket of snow? Ever wondered what it was like to walk on top of the frozen prūdas? Come to Neringa’s Winter Šventė (Celebration)! Walk, snow-shoe, or Nordic ski Vermont’s back country roads in support of Neringa’s bridge-building campaign. A mass in memory of Jonas Kunca, our beloved cook, will be held on Sunday. Evening entertainment and food will be provided. Winter accommodations at Neringa are limited to dormitory style living, but reservations can be made at Colonel Williams Inn at a special group rate (call 802-257-1093 or write info@colonelwilliamsinn.com). Don’t forget to bring your sleds and snowsuits for moonlight sledding and stargazing. What better way to spend a winter weekend than to support the place you love while having fun with your friends. More detailed information can be found here.

Women's Weekend - May 18-20, 2012
Mark those calendars! The annual women's weekend at Neringa, facilitated by Kerry Secrest and Dr. Kristina Mačiūnas, will come again in 2012. More detailed information to follow.

No Bridge at Neringa

Information about Neringa's flood can be found here. We thank all who have contributed to rebuilding efforts, especially the Lithuanian Foundation, Rochester Lithuanian Fund, and The Oak Tree Philanthropic Foundation. Damage repair costs are currently estimated at $75,000. Much more help is needed. Please see directions on the flood page if you are able to contribute financial assistance.

Support Neringa By Purchasing Water Bottles!
We are pleased to announce the opportunity to purchase water bottles online, and the profit will benefit Camp Neringa. One bottle design features Neringa's name, and the other is a Vytis with "Lietuva" ("Lithuania") printed on it, which could appeal to a broader audience, so feel free to pass along this link: http://www.hope-2o.org/neringa.aspx Thanks for your support.
